How do I have two people inputting information on the same account app?

Hi deborahj-spooner What type of account do you hold with us, is it a SimpleStart, Essentials, or Plus product?

Thank you for your reply. I have signed up for a trial of 'Essentials'.

It is a 4 month paid half price subscription 

Thanks for getting back to us deborahj-spooner, you'll need to add each person as a seperate user with their own unique login on the account, to ensure you can both access and input data at the same time. We've got a guide here with the steps to add a user, we've also listed these below for your convenience. :woman_technologist:

 

1. Sign in to QuickBooks with a user profile that has permission to manage users.
2. Select Settings ⚙
3. Select Manage users.
4. Select Add user.
5. Select a user type > Next. Note: Some roles count towards your user limit. 
6. Select the access rights for the user > Next.
7. Select the user settings, if applicable > Next.
8. Enter the user’s name and email address > Save.

Thank you for the guide and information. The. 'manage users' option does not appear in my settings and so does this mean I need a different subscription?
