How do i register my staff in payroll as furloughed?

We can add a category to register our staff as a furlough. Though, this is only applicable in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll. To guide further in creating a pay category, we can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Payroll Settings under Your Company.
  3. Create a new pay category by selecting the Add button.
  4. Enter your Pay Category name.
  5. Click Save
  6. Enter the needed information. Then, Save.
