If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll (Core, Premium, or Elite), pay period dates are automatically set based on the pay schedules assigned to your employees. You can change them while running payroll by selecting a different period from the dropdown menu.
Here's how:
- Go to the All apps menu and select Payroll.
- Click Employees, then Run payroll.
- In the Pay period field, choose the appropriate period from the dropdown menu.
- Select Preview payroll to review.
- Submit payroll to complete the process.
