I am trying to add SMP for an employee however there isn't a + tab as described?

I'd be happy to share with you simon18 on how to set up SMP in QuickBooks Online.

 

Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Click Employees in the left navigation menu.
  2. Go to Employees tab, then click the name of the employee.
  3. In the employees page, click the + plus icon on the bottom right hand.
  4. Select Employee's leave.
  5. Select Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP).
  6. Fill up the necessary information.
  7. Click Save.

Please keep in mind that the SMP option shows up only if the employee's gender is Female on the employee's profile.
