I have tried several times to enable the MTD for my account, every time it gets to the window where it says enter HMRC ID it fails to load page, anyone have any ideas???

I'm here to help make sure that you'd able to enable MTD for your account.
 
To get started, I recommend accessing your account in a Private browsing window first to verify if this is caused by the system or your browser.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts that will help you accomplish this in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Next, turn on pop-up windows, then access your QuickBooks Online account again.

 

To enable MTD in QuickBooks, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Click Taxes in the left navigation menu.
  2. Click on Let's go button at the upper right hand.

Once done, to authorise QuickBooks to interact with HMRC, follow these steps:

  1. Click Continue to sign in.
  2. Enter your HMRC credentials to sign in.
  3. Click on Grant authority to continue.
  4. Once the authorisation has been given, you will receive a 'You're connected to HMRC message as below, then click Continue.
  5. When the process has been completed, click on Take a look.

That's it! Once you're able to complete this process, you can now submit VAT return for MTD through QuickBooks.

I have tried these things but to no avail.

And this is what happens every time i begin the process, it has done this for the past 6 weeks, Im going to have problems with HMRC soon if I don’t get this sorted!!!

Hi again, rob43. I appreciate your prompt response and providing us updates.

 

Based on the screenshot you've provided, it appears that you're using MAC. To further isolate the issue, I'd recommend resetting your router. Once done, kindly try to access your account again using a private browsing window.
