I'm trying to add the payroll subscription but the quikbooks desktop page just gets stuck loading. Internet speed is great, is this common?
Hello there, @murray8. Welcome to the Community. Sometimes a webpage doesn’t load because of browser settings or compatibility issues. Even if your internet is fine.
To fix this issue, I recommend using incognito mode or a private browsing window. Also, make sure you’re using a supported browser, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Safari, when accessing QuickBooks Online.
If you're using the QuickBooks Online Desktop app and trying to apply for a payroll subscription through it, make sure your device meets the system requirements (specifically, it must be 64-bit). If your device is compatible, close and reopen the app. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
