If I have submitted payroll with the incorrect tax month.. how can I fix this?

Hello there, @usertheplasteringco.

 

You need to delete and recreate the payroll with the correct information to fix the issue. I'm here to assist you on how.

 

First, you can print out all the payslips and payroll reports to ensure you have the information needed for the employee. Then, delete the payroll:

 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu at the left pane, then select Employees.
  2. In the Payroll History section, choose the most recent period.
  3. On the Payroll details page, click the Bin (trash) icon.
  4. Read through the checklist and enter Yes in the box.
  5. Click Delete.

Once completed, you can now create a new one then resubmit the FPS to HMRC. You may want to check out these articles for the detailed steps:
