Net to gross payroll

I'll share some insights on how to process net and gross payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To calculate your employees' paycheck, you'll need to subtract their gross pay from their deductions to have shown their total net pay. 

 

Let say your employees' gross pay is £50 and has a deduction of £5 deduction per month for their health insurance. Their net pay would be £45. If they have a zero deduction, then their gross pay and net pay would be the same. The key formula to this is Gross pay - deductions = net pay.
