On my payroll tax tab I have a few questions1. Full payment submissions are submitted automatically with payroll but they are coming up as past due ?

How do I stop this from happening? Also do I need to submit No Payment EPS for months where I also send a Full Payment Submission

On my payroll tax tab I have a few questions1. Full payment submissions are submitted automatically with payroll but they are coming up as past due ?

We appreciate you raising your concern regarding the Full Payment Submission (FPS) and Employer Payment Summary (EPS) in this forum, stsportsltd. I'll ensure you get all the necessary help from the appropriate support team.

Since your FPS was submitted automatically with payroll, I recommend contacting our Live Payroll support team for assistance. They have the right tools and expertise to know why it shows as past due in the Payroll Tax center and provide the most relevant fix.

Here's how:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Select (?) Help, then proceed to the Search tab.
  3. Utilise the search field or open an article and click Contact Us at the bottom of the Help Panel.
  4. Choose a way to connect with our experts: Have us call you or Chat with us.

In response to your query about EPS,  there are instances where you’ll need to submit it together with FPS. To determine if it's required for your business, you'll want to reach out to HMRC directly for clarifications and guidance.

To streamline the review and management of payroll-related expenses, there’s a range of reports for you to use in QBO. Visit the Reports section, browse through, and locate the Payroll section under the Standard tab for quick access to these data.
