Hi I’m trying to set up standard pay roll. When I log onto my account there is no employees or payroll anywhere on the menu

This display or menu error can sometimes be caused by the browser's collection of data over time from frequent page visits. 

You can start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

• Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
• Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
• Control + Option + P (Safari)

Once signed in, go to the Employees or Payroll menu and turn on Standard Payroll. For the detailed steps, here's how:

1. Go to the Employees or Payroll menu.
2. Select Choose your plan. You'll see the two options to choose from Standard Payroll and Advanced Payroll.
3. From the Standard Payroll option, select Start 1 month free trial.
4. Go to the Employees or Payroll menu, then select Let's go to set up your payroll in QBO.

If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
