When processing a leaver will the salary element automatically be pro-rated based on the % of the month/pay period worked or do companies add a negative adjustment?

I'll help you process a leaver, Kstorrie.

 

If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll, you'll have to manually enter the final payment figure for the leaver as the system will not calculate qualifying days.

 

I'll share the article on how to process a leaver in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.

 

Although, if you're using the Paysuite and Pro Rate method, it will automatically calculate for new starters and leavers. 

 

I'll include the reference on how to make an employee a leaver in PaySuite
