Why is a client who has had his first successful MTD VAT return submitted in QBO now showing as 'Unable to Connect' to HMRC - Action Required for the next quarter?

He is on the Cash based system.

Hi liz-brown

This is a default message that sometimes appears, it is meant to indicate that you are not able to submit the next return at the present time, in this case it is due to the end date not being reached.

Hi liz-brown

What is the end date of your clients next/open return?

Next quarter is 1 Aug to 31 Oct 19. The May to July one submitted fine. Shows as accepted. It was immediately after this submission that it came up as unable to connect for the current quarter...

I've done a few MTD submissions now, and all stay as connected after the submission.
