Should a P45 be issued after final pay has been finalised/submitted to hmrc? And how do I issue P45/termiante employee on Quickbooks online payroll?
Hello Giuliana-birdand, yes if you have set the leaving date of the employee to be in that final pay period it will show in emplouyee>documents their p45. We've included an article here on how to terminate the employee in the standard payroll which also advises on the p45.
