To get this sorted out, as an initial step, let's check the payroll journal created by your payroll. This will depend on what actions you'll need to take to match your Bank transactions.
If the payroll already reaches your Bank Register within QuickBooks Online, you'll have to make sure that it hits the correct bank and follow the Find Match process.
However, if it did not hit the Bank Register then most probably it will allocate to a Liability account, you'll have to add the transactions to the liability account in order to show the Balance sheet it was already paid
