Tide Savings account

Hi, id like to link my Tide savings account to Quickbooks online but open banking doesn't appear to allow this. I can connect a current accounts but that is it. Is it possible or what would be the best work around.

I have another way so you can connect your account and be able to get your transactions, Jon.

But before we start, may I know if you're getting specific errors? In the meantime, you'll want to contact your bank or sign on to your bank's website to see if there are issues and maintenance on their end. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card website.
Ensure the same credentials you use to connect the account to QuickBooks. If you use something different, disconnect the account from QuickBooks and use the credentials for your bank's website to reconnect it.
  2. Check for any updates, messages, or notifications.
  3. If you need to do anything or do something, the message should give you specific steps.

You can also read this article to get solutions in case you experience bank connection issues. I've added this article for more details: Banks That Support Open Banking Connections With QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, QuickBooks downloads the latest transactions automatically. Learn how to download transactions from your bank and upload them in QuickBooks manually if you're still unable to connect your bank. To give you more details on how this works, check this out: Manually Upload Transactions Into QuickBooks Online.

If you still have any other concerns when connecting your bank, you can always get back to us anytime so we can help. Have a great day ahead!
