by Intuit•1• Updated 3 days ago

This page tracks currently known issues and specific connectivity requirements for UK banks. If you are having trouble connecting to your bank or refreshing your feed, check below for the latest status and troubleshooting steps.

Before you start

If your bank isn't currently supported for direct connection, you can still manually upload transactions into QuickBooks.

Lloyds Bank: Connection requirements

If you are experiencing issues with Lloyds Bank, review the specific requirements for your account type. These issues are often related to specific bank permissions required under UK Open Banking regulations.

  • Onboarding: You must be fully onboarded to O4B with an active electronic banking mandate.
  • Account eligibility: The account must be visible online and eligible for Open Banking.
Note: Most current accounts are eligible, but loan accounts typically are not.
  • Approvals: Multi-party approvals (2 or 3 approvers) are fully supported for O4B.
  • User permissions: Any authorised user with O4B access can share business accounts with QuickBooks via Open Banking.
  • Support: Visit the Lloyds Online for Business page for more details.
  • User roles: Ensure your user profile has the appropriate permissions assigned within CBO.
  • Admin settings: Your CBO registration must be set to 'Open Banking allowed.' A System Administrator must also enable AIS (Account Information Service) and/or PIS (Payment Initiation Service).
  • Account visibility: The specific account must be assigned to your user role by your System Administrator.
  • Currency: QuickBooks supports both Sterling and foreign currency accounts if they are Open Banking eligible.
  • Current limitations: International payments and bulk/batch files are not currently supported for CBO via Open Banking.
  • Support: Visit the Lloyds Commercial Banking Online site for further assistance.
