QuickBooks offers a range of products to suit different business needs. Knowing which product you have is crucial for accessing the right support.
In this article, we’ll help you:
Step 1: Find out which QuickBooks plan you are on
For customers using the web
- Sign in to your Quickbooks account
- Go to Settings ⚙.
- Select Subscription and billing
For customers using a mobile device
For Android: Tap the ? icon and select About
For iPhone: Tap the navigation icon , go to the settings , and then select Billing & Subscription
Step 2: Find your company ID
Ever wonder how your company is identified? We use a number called the QuickBooks Online company ID. If you contact us, we may ask for it.
Follow the steps below, based on the device you are using.
For customers using QuickBooks on a web browser
There are three ways to get your company ID using QuickBooks:
Option 1: Go to Addtional info
All users can access their company ID quickly from Additional info.
- Go to Settings ⚙.
- Select Additional info.
Option 2: Use your keyboard
With QuickBooks Online open, press the following keys on your keyboard.
- Windows: Ctrl + Alt + ?
- Mac: Control + Option + ?
Option 3: Go to the Billing & Subscription page
If you have admin rights to QuickBooks, you can get your ID from your preferences.
- Go to Settings and select Account and settings.
- Select the Billing & Subscription tab. You'll see the company ID at the top of the Billing & Subscription section.
Note: If your account is paid for by your accountant, you won’t be able to see the Billing & Subscription section.
For customers using the QuickBooks mobile app
For Android: Tap the ? icon and select About.
For iPhone: Tap the navigation icon , go to the settings
