Below is a short video on how to change an invoice number in QuickBooks Online UK.

How to change an invoice number

To change an invoice number:

1. Go to Sales and select Invoices (Take me there).
2. Select the invoice in question.
3. Go to the Invoice no. field and change the invoice number.
4. Select Save and Close or Save and Send.

**NOTE: You will first have to turn on 'Customer transaction' numbers in settings. To do this:

1. Click on the Gear Icon in the top right of the page.
2. Click Account and Settings.
3. Click Sales.
4. Click Custom transaction numbers and tick the box.
5. Click Save.
