Exclude bank transactions in QuickBooks Sole Trader

Learn how to exclude transactions, and how to undo an exclusion, in QuickBooks Sole Trader.

After you connect your bank and credit card accounts, QuickBooks Sole Trader can bring in your business and personal transactions. There may be times that you want to exclude a transaction from bookkeeping, we’ll show you how.

Note: Transactions can be excluded, but not deleted.

Exclude transactions

  1. Go to All apps A bunch of numbers and letters on a tile wall., select Accounting, then select Bank transactions (Take me there).
  2. Find the transaction you want to exclude, then select the Edit Image of the edit icon. icon.
  3. Select Exclude.

Undo a transaction exclusion

  1. Go to All apps A bunch of numbers and letters on a tile wall., select Accounting, then select Bank transactions (Take me there).
  2. Go to the table filter Customise icon. and select Show/hide icon. Show excluded.
  3. Find the excluded transaction, then select Undo exclude.
