Customise or change sounds in QuickBooks Time

Learn how to set, change or mute sounds to play when a team member clocks in, switches jobs or customers, and clocks out on a computer. 

Install the sounds add-on

1. In QuickBooks Time, select Feature Add-ons, then select Manage Add-ons.
2. Go to Sounds, and select Install.
3. In the Sounds Preferences window, make your selections in the dropdowns. To hear the sound, select Play .

Change or mute sounds

If you or your team member wants to change or mute sounds:

1. In QuickBooks Time, select your profile dropdown, and select Sounds.
2. Do one of the following:
   • To mute all sounds, select Mute sounds.
   • To change the sounds, select the dropdowns to make selections. To hear the sound, select Play .
