Compare hours scheduled to hours worked in QuickBooks Time

Learn how to run a report to compare the hours you scheduled for your team members with the hours they worked in QuickBooks Time. 

Note: Only admins, managers, and team members granted the View timesheet reports for all team members permission can view this report.

Run the report

  1. In QuickBooks Time, go to Reports, select Schedule Reports, then Scheduled vs. Worked.
  2. Select the team members to be included in the report.
  3. Select a date range, and select Run Report.
  4. Next to View By, select Team member or Customer/Job.
  5. Optional settings:
    • For team member report:
      1. Hide team members with zero hours
      2. Hide archived team members.
    • Select any column heading to sort by smallest to largest or A-Z.
  6. (Optional) To download a spreadsheet of the report, select Download.csv.
  7. (Optional) To print a copy of the report, select Print Image of the print icon..
