Set up timesheet submission and approvals in QuickBooks Time

Install the Approvals add-on to enable:

  • Team member timesheet submissions
  • Manager timesheet approvals
  • Timesheet submission and approval reminders

To install the add-on:

  1. Go to Feature Add-ons > Manage Add-ons.
  2. Scroll down to Approvals, and then select Install.
  3. In the Approvals Preferences window, on the General tab, make your selections, and (optional) customise the message seen when team members submit their timesheets.
  4. (Optional) On the Notifications tab, set team member timesheet submission and manager approval reminders.
