Learn how to set up timesheet submission and approvals in QuickBooks Time.
Note: Installing the approvals add-on turns on:
- Team member timesheet submissions
- Manager timesheet approvals
- Timesheet submission and approval reminders
Install add-on

- In QuickBooks Time, go to Feature Add-ons and select Manage Add-ons.
- Go to Approvals and select Install.
Note: If Approvals is already installed, go to Feature Add-ons and select Approvals Preferences. - In the Approvals Preferences window, on the General tab, make your selections.
- (Optional) Customise the message team members will see when they submit their timesheets.
Note: Select Team members can review and submit their time checkbox to see the Customise option. - (Optional) On the Notifications tab, set team member timesheet submission and manager approval reminders.
