Export reports to Google Sheets in QuickBooks Online Advanced

Learn how to export your QuickBooks Online Advanced reports directly to Google Sheets, verify your access, and manage your exported data. This feature is only available in QuickBooks Online Advanced.


Before you begin

Make sure you:

  • Have a Google account set up.
  • Allow pop-up windows from QuickBooks Online in your web browser.

Export a report to Google Sheets

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Advanced.
  2. Go to Reports.
  3. Open the report you want to export.
  4. From the Export â–Ľ dropdown, select Export to Google Sheets.
  5. Enter the verification code sent to you.
  6. Select Get started.
  7. Review the permissions, then select Allow.
  8. Sign in to your Google account, if prompted.
  9. Your QuickBooks data is now linked to Google Sheets.

Manage your exported data

  • Exported data is saved in your Google account and is no longer controlled by QuickBooks.
  • Google Sheets cannot be imported back into QuickBooks Online.
  • If you make changes in QuickBooks after exporting, you’ll need to export again for the updates to appear in Google Sheets.
