Troubleshooting QuickBooks Workforce sign-in issues

by Intuit Updated 2 weeks ago

Learn how to access your QuickBooks Workforce account.

This article will help you resolve common sign-in issues and access your QuickBooks Workforce account, where you can manage time tracking, view project statuses, and check time-off balances.

Getting started

To use QuickBooks Workforce, you must receive an email or text invitation from your employer. This invitation is required to create your Intuit Account, which you will use to sign in. If you have not received an invitation, please contact your employer.

First-time sign-in

  1. Accept the invitation: Look for an email from do_not_reply@intuit.com with your employer's name in the subject line. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it. Note: Invitations expire after 30 days. If your invitation has expired, ask your employer to send a new one.
  2. Create your account: Select Accept Invite in the email. You can create a new Intuit Account or use an existing one.
  3. Complete setup: After accepting the invitation, download the QuickBooks Workforce mobile app to finish setting up your account for time tracking.

QR code sign-up

If your employer provides a QR code, you can use it to sign up directly within the mobile app.

  1. Download the QuickBooks Workforce app.
  2. Select I'm new here.
  3. Scan the QR code to proceed.

Troubleshooting common issues

If you have forgotten your sign-in details, you can recover them through your Intuit Account.

If you no longer have access to the email address or phone number associated with your account, follow the account recovery steps.

If you do not receive a verification code, check your email's spam or junk folder and any active filters. You can also request a new code.

Ensure you have the latest version of both the QuickBooks Workforce app and your device's operating system.
