
Add new customers in QuickBooks

Add new customer profiles to the customer list to include them in future QuickBooks transactions, reports and invoices.
Note: This article is for customers using QuickBooks Online (Advanced, Essentials, Plus, and Simple Start) and Sole Trader.
Follow the steps below based on the product you are using.
Note: You can add internal notes to customers which will appear on all invoices.
- Select Sales.
- Select Customers. And select your customer.
- Select Edit and select the customer and enter a note.
If you don't want to see Internal notes, follow the same steps and delete the notes and they will not show up on invoices.
