What to do with your data at tax time
On the Taxes page at the top right, click Download tax summary to download a PDF of your income and expenses mapped to SA103 categories. Share the PDF with your accountant, or use it to help file your taxes yourself. (Tip! the PDF contains corresponding SA103F box numbers for easy transcribing.)
For transaction level details, click Download tax details (beneath Download tax summary) to download an XLS file you can open in Excel or another spreadsheet app.

How to export your information to Excel
- Go to the Taxes page.
- Click the Download Tax Summary button in the top right corner of the page and select Download tax details.
- Open the file (named TaxSummary_2016-17.xls, located in your Downloads folder) in Excel.
Share the data with your accountant
We designed the summary and details files to be shared with your accountant. PDF (Adobe Reader) and XLS (Excel or another spreadsheet) are standard file formats that almost everyone has access to. You can email the files to your accountant or share them with a file-sharing app like Dropbox. And of course, you can print them out and share them that way. Check with your accountant to see what works best.
Got a specific question about a deduction?
To find out whether a deduction counts as an SA103F category, read descriptions by clicking the category name on the Business Spending Tax Year section of your Home page. To the right of the category name, you'll see an arrow. Click the arrow to see details about the category. If you don't find your answer there, check with your accountant or go to the HMRC website.
