Set company or team member clock in and out reminders in QuickBooks Time

Notes:

  • You must be an account administrator to manage these settings. If not, you can manage your own settings. Learn how to Change QuickBooks Time clock-in and clock-out reminders.
  • For team members to receive text reminders, the account administrator must install the text messaging add-on. Learn how to Install and uninstall add-ons for QuickBooks Time.
  • If notifications are set to send via both SMS and push, only a push notification will be sent to the team members' mobile devices.
  • If both SMS and push notifications are set by a team member, they will receive both types.

To set reminder times, days, and methods:

For all team members

  1. Go to Company Settings.
  2. Select Notifications, make your choices, and select Save.

For individual team members

  1. Go to My Team.
  2. Select a team member.
  3. In the Team Member Details window, select Notifications.
  4. Make your choices, and select Save.
