How to export reports from QuickBooks to Excel

  1. Go to Reports (Take me there).
  2. Search for and select the report you want to export.
  3. If the report opens in:
    • Classic view: Select the Export Image Alt Text icon, then select Export to Excel.
    • New enhanced experience: Select Export/Print Image Alt Text, then select Export to Excel.
  4. QuickBooks downloads your file on your computer. You can usually find it in the Downloads folder.

Note: If you’re missing data when you open the report in Excel, you can edit the file in Excel.
