Change custom VAT rates
by Intuit• Updated 5 months ago
Learn how to update a custom VAT rate you created in QuickBooks Online.
If your business requires a custom VAT rate, the following article will show you how to make changes to it as necessary.
- Go to Taxes and select VAT (Take me there) or CIS.
- Select Edit VAT or Edit CIS depending on the rate you want to modify.
- Select Edit rates from the dropdown list.
- Select On or Off beside the tax rate you want to make active or inactive.
Note: Changes to the VAT rate will apply to any future transactions you add it to. If you need to change the VAT rate for an existing transaction, open that transaction and edit the rate manually. |
