Any CIS gurus out there? When a subcontractor is unverified, QB shows a 0% deduction but it should be 30%. This is a real headache for us. Anyone know a fix?

Hi @Craig28

You have to select the correct Category - either Subcontractors (20%) or Subcontractors (30%) - in order for QBO to show a CIS deduction on the Bill.

If the Category does not align with the CIS Rate in the Supplier Address > Additional Information, QBO will show a warning.

Hope this helps.

Hi Craig28, thanks for joining the Community - the verification status shouldn't impact this; have you selected the relevant QuickBooks CIS code on the 'CIS rate' drop-down in the subcontractors settings?
