Banking connection error - 7500

Hi,m

 

Since 30th of December I'm getting error: 

Something unexpected happened and we can’t connect to Bank of Scotland Personal Banking - Current accounts.

Try again in a few hours. (7500)

 

Well, I waited few hours, days, but nothing has changed. Tried to search help center and google that error, but can't find anything. Found only article: What to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error, and it wasn't helpful. 

Using Chrome browser on Win PC, tried Mozilla - the same, can log in to the bank account without any issue. 

Can please anybody help?

I appreciate you tried other browsers to isolate the issue, ShopbyKat. 

 

Our engineers are already aware of this and are currently working to identify the cause and resolve it. For now, I'd recommend contacting our support team to add your details to the notification list of FDS-8625. 

 

Below are the steps to reach them out:

 

  1. Click Help at the top, then Contact us at the bottom. 
  2. Type in your concern and hit Continue
  3. Select either Start a chat or Get a callback

We are aware of the issue, and our engineers are currently working on a solution to fix it. While they do, I recommend getting in touch with our support team to add your account to the list of affected users. 


You can follow the steps shared by my colleague to receive notification and updates about the investigation.

I get this error as well. It is June now could you please update on the progress  resolving this issue? Thanks

Hi Alsy:waving_hand:, Thank you for getting in contact with the Community about your bank error 7500. Can we just ask which bank are you with? The 7500 error is usually a temporary error resolving itself within 48 hours. We can certainly reach out to our banking team if it has been longer than this,

It is Paypal (UK). I tried getting chat support, but that does not work either :loudly_crying_face:

Hi Alsy, Thanks for the update. We've spoken with our banking team and we have no other reports of this issue with Paypal. Can we ask you to try clearing the cache and cookies in the browser you are using and then closing down the browser and reopening and refreshing the bank connection, do you get the same error? I9f so can we ask you to also try signing into QuickBooks on an incognito or private window and refreshing the connection as well.
