Claude was connected and working but now I'm getting an error stating the app you’ve selected isn’t available for use in your country (I'm in the UK) Suggestions to fix?

I had Claude working with QBO but now when it attempts to connect I get this "error" message "Unfortunately, the app you’ve selected isn’t available for use in your country. Try contacting the app publisher for more information, or select a different app to use in QuickBooks. We’re sorry for the inconvenience." However, I'm in the UK and it was working fine. Something maybe worth noting when I go to the Help, it goes to US not UK (don't know if that has anything to do with it).

The integration between QuickBooks Online and Anthropic's Claude is currently only available for the US version. This regional restriction is the reason you are encountering the error and being redirected to the US help page.

 

While this feature isn't fully supported for UK accounts just yet, we are constantly working to expand our tools globally. I recommend checking our blog from time to time for any official announcements regarding its global release.
