DELIVERY SERVER DOWN

I have an idea on how to resolve the error you're getting, @PaulaFell.

The Delivery Server Down error when trying to send your invoices is usually related to attachments on your transaction or the way your Company email info is set up. No worries, I have the needed fixes to resolve them.

First, please ensure that the company email and all customer-facing email fields are complete, have the correct format, and don't contain prefixes.

Second, you can turn off the PDF attached option on the Account and Settings page to refresh its set up. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Under Your Company, choose Account and Settings.
  3. Select Sales from the left menu.
  4. In the Online delivery section, click the Pencil icon.
  5. Uncheck the box before PDF Attached.
  6. Click Save, and then Done at the bottom.
  7. Then, try sending your forms again.

Third, please make sure there aren't any special characters on your invoices and the attachments meet the 25 MB maximum file size. For more details about the other fixes, please review this article: Delivery Errors when trying to email a sales form.

If the set up is correct and you're still getting the same error or outcome, this can be caused by too much cache. I've got a different set of troubleshooting steps to resolve this.

To start, please log in to your account using a private window/incognito. This can help us determine if it's a browser-related issue due to stored cache. You can use the following shortcut keys to access one:

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome A63.PNG .
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox A64.PNG and Microsoft Edge A65.PNG .
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari A66.PNG .

Then, try sending your invoices again. If it works, clear your browser's cache to remove the piled up files that cause unusual QuickBooks Online (QBO) responses. If the issue persists, you can use another supported browser instead.

If you haven't tried sending or printing your invoices in bulk, I recommend giving it a shot. This way, you can manage your tasks more efficiently. Also, you can customize your invoices to get the details you want.

Once you receive the invoices payments from your customers, you can begin recording them in QBO to keep your records correct and up-to-date.

You can count on me if you have more questions about managing your invoices in QBO. I'd be glad to help you some more. Have a good one.

DELIVERY SERVER DOWN

Hi @brendago,

Thank you for joining the thread. I'll point you in the right direction for support with this issue.

We have an open investigation for this issue. Since you already contacted our Technical Support team before, I expect they added you to the list of our affected users already. What you need to do is wait for an update when it's available via email.

If that isn't the case, I suggest you contact our Technical Support team again. This way, they can add you to the list, and you'll get an email as soon as an update becomes available.

You can keep this article for reference: QuickBooks Online Support. It includes the support team's hours of operation, so you know when they're available.

While the investigation is ongoing, you can download the PDF copy of your invoices and send it to your customers outside of QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Direct other questions you may have about QBO in the comments section below. I'll be around if you need further help.
