Handling your business tasks in QBSE can generate a large amount of data, which can corrupt files and slow down the software's performance, Doc.
To fix this concern, you need to refresh your app's data. Follow the steps below based on your device.
For Android:
- Open Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Select QuickBooks, then Storage.
- Tap Clear Data.
For iOS:
- In your device's Settings, choose General.
- Select iPhone Storage, then the QBSE app.
- Click the Offload App to free up storage space without deleting your app's documents and data.
- In your Home Screen, locate and tap the app icon to reactivate it.
After that, open the app and ensure you have a reliable internet connection to log in to your account. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app to clear all old data and start fresh. To reinstall, go to your App Store (for iPhone) or Play Store (for Android) and find the app in your account history, not the app library.
Once your QBSE is running smoothly again, review and update your bank transactions. If the issue reoccurs, please let me know which bank you're using and if you receive any error messages during the update, so we can determine if the problem is related to your bank.
Alternatively, I recommend using a supported browser to access your QBSE and manage your bank transactions.
Once done, categorize your transactions to accurately reflect your income and expenses on financial statements, providing a clearer understanding of your business's health.
