Error 324 "We can't find this account at your bank"

I received an email to update my banking feeds a few weeks ago, since doing this I can no longer access my credit card feed. I get error 324 "We can't find this account at your bank". I've tried following the advice at "Fix banking error 324 - Standard feeds" but there is no option to disconnect my accounts.

Hello, @norwichdesigner.

 

Your bank could be in the middle of an update. This is why you won’t see the disconnect option. You’ll have to wait a few more minutes before you can proceed.

 

Here’s how to disconnect the bank:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and click the blue tile for your bank account.
  2. Select the pencil ✎ icon and choose Edit account infobank1.JPG
  3. Hit the Disconnect this account on save checkbox. bank2.JPG
  4. Select Save and close.

You can also consider adding this new connection: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Hi Mary,

 

I managed to disconnect the credit card accounts thanks to your advice, but now it won't let me re-add them. When I go to add account and select my bank, it just gives me the option to connect my business current account, not the commercial card account linked to it.

Can you tell us more about the bank that you're trying to connect to? That'll help us check to see if there's an ongoing issue with it.

 

Check the following pointers to find this account:

  • Choose the correct listing or have tried all possible links. Search by the banking sign-in URL to ensure you are using the correct listing.
  • Verify if your bank can connect to all types of accounts.

It’s HSBC. It lists the current account but doesn’t list the credit card (there’s a main credit card account and a separate cardholder account)

I've read the entire thread and it looks like all possible troubleshooting steps about resolving error 324 have been shared here. 

 

In this case, I would recommend reaching out to our phone support so they can a closer look at this. Here's how:

  1. Click the Help menu and select Contact Us.
  2. Let them know that you're not able to connect your HSBC commercial card account, then click Let's talk.
  3. Click Start a chat.
  4. You can also click Get a callback during business hours. They're open from Monday to Friday in between 8 AM to 7 PM (GMT).
