Hi there, Joel-YH.
You may encounter this error when the CSV file’s format is incorrect, or the template doesn’t meet the specific requirements. QuickBooks Self-Employed can import CSV files that use either a 3-column or 4-column format.
Since you confirmed line 422 is formatted correctly, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support. They have the tools to pull up your account and check format when importing your data.
Here's how to contact them:
1. Log in to your QuickBook Self-Employed account.
2. Click Assistant at the upper right corner.
3. Ask general questions like, How to import data from the bank? in the search icon at the bottom.
4. Continue or follow onscreen instructions.
Please check this article for additional information on how to contact QBSE support if you're using iOS and Android: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.
You may refer to this article on how to export transactions from your bank and then import them into QuickBooks using your laptop or desktop: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
