Getting an unable to process request error message when trying to do anything on the app?

There are several causes why this error occurs while performing QuickBooks tasks, and I've listed them below.

 

  • The Operating System (OS) version isn't compatible with the program.
  • The mobile app stores too much cached data. 
  • There's a problem during the update or installation.

 

I've got the steps to resolve the problem. I'll provide them below.

 

First, make sure your phone's OS is supported. If you have an iPhone or iPad use the 9.3 or later. For Android Phone & Tablet, have 4.1 or later.

 

Then, let's clear the app's cache. It retains data, which can cause an unusual response to the system. I'll show you how:

 

  1. From your device's Settings, select Apps (varies by device).
  2. Choose the QuickBooks app from the list.
  3. Select Storage
  4. Tap clear data.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling the software. Then, reinstall it to refresh the system. 

 

For the iOs version, let's uninstall the app to remove the cache data stored in the system:

 

  1. Touch and hold the QuickBooks Online app.
  2. Tap Remove App.
  3. Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.
  4. After that, install the app again.

 

In the meantime, you can access your QuickBooks Online account

via supported web browsers. There, you can continue your tasks.
