Having difficulty in loading and functionality on Edge browser, no issue with Firefox on the same PC.

When using Edge QB often fails to load, and when loaded I sometimes suffer a lack of functionalty. For example "Reports" doesnt take me to a sub menu and "Edit" doesn't take me to the original transaction. No problems with Firefox

An outdated browser version can impact your experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO), billdixon.

For optimal performance, your system must meet certain requirements. To ensure you meet these requirements, please update the Edge browser and make sure it is version 79 or newer. For other browser, you can check these system requirements:

  • Google Chrome: version 78 or newer.
  • Mozilla Firefox: version 76 or newer. Note: To preview and print forms on Mac OS, you'll also need the Firefox PDF plugin.
  • Microsoft Edge: version 79 or newer.
  • Safari: version 12 or newer (Mac only).
  • Opera: version 68 or newer.

Please note that QuickBooks no longer supports old versions of these browsers.

If the issue persists after upgrading to the latest browser version, I recommend following the browser troubleshooting steps to determine if accumulated data is causing unexpected issues in QBO.

Additionally, I've included an article that may help you in the future. It outlines report management in QBO: Run a report in QuickBooks Online.
