Hi Guys . I seem to have problems to create an estimate. The function is not working

Hi there, info2356. The reason you're unable to add VAT and Products and Services to your estimates is likely that these features haven't been set up and enabled yet in your QuickBooks Online(QBO) account.

To add VAT to your estimates, you’ll need to set up VAT in QBO. Here’s how:

1. On the left panel, click All apps.
2. Click VAT. Then, you'll be asked to set up your VAT.
3. Click Set up VAT, then follow the on-screen instructions to process it.
4. After setting up, you can add the VAT.

Once the setup is complete, you'll have the option to add VAT to your transactions, including estimates.

For Products and Services, you’ll need to enable the feature so you can add items and services to estimates and other forms. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Account and settings.
3. Click the Sales tab.
4. Under the Products and Services section, click the pencil icon to edit it.
5. Turn the radio button on for the Show Product/Service column on sales forms.
6. Once done, click Save. Then, click Done.

After completing these steps, try creating a new estimate and confirm if you're now able to add VAT and Products and Services.
