Hi there, @skippy0472.

I'll share with you various troubleshooting steps. So you're able to reconnect your PayPal uni in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you're using a mobile app while reconnecting your Paypal, I'd suggest resetting the app to get rid of the error message.

For Android:

  1. From More Options, then select the Settings tab.
  2. Choose the Refresh Data menu.
  3. Hit Yes

For iOs:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Click OK.

After that, reconnect it to check if it's already performing fine. Though, if the issue continues, you can uninstall and reinstall the app. Please touch and hold the app, then click the Delete app button or Uninstall. Nothing to worry about uninstalling the app because it won't delete the transactions and subscriptions you have.

Once done, you can now reinstall the app. For the detailed steps, please check this article: How to download the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

On the other hand, if you're using a web browser, let's use incognito in reconnecting the account. This way, we can verify if there's something wrong with your normal browser.

Here are the hotkeys:

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

If that works fine, go back to your normal browser, then clear the cache. This process aims to speed up your overall browsing experience. Using supported browsers is a good alternative too.

If the problem endures, I'd suggest importing the transactions manually via CSV File. First, log in to your bank's website, then download the data. After that, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then choose Upload transactions.
  2. Hit Browse, then pick the file you downloaded from your bank.
  3. Tap Next.
  4. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  5. Click Next, then Let's go

Following this, you'll match and categorize the data to ensure the books are accurate and avoid duplicates. For more details about the process, visit this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online
