IF YOU HAVENT TRIED THIS NEW QUICKBOOKS..I ADVISE YOU TO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
We have had Quickbooks since the 1980's and bought the exsisting programe at that time ...all was well until they changed last year and we were forced to now pay a monthly fee. This would not be a problem if the programe worked!! Its rubbish!! and so frustrating to use, the support they offer cannot be recified as no one has the knowledge to not only change all the data from the exsisting programe, but cannot answer simple questions, and in the end close the conversation!! We have struggled with this new Quickbooks all this year and it is twice as long to use..I could list all the things it dosn't do but it would take too long.

Their support is useless. My subscription went up $20/month but the help is now obsolete. I tried online, after over an hour waiting it disconnected me. I've been on a call back list for a few hours. I tried all day yesterday and today to get through with no luck. I jus want to update my tax table but it says my product number is invalid. I have gone through 4 online steps to rectify this with no luck and now my time is just being wasted. I liked this product before but would not recommend unless you are a tech genius.
Can anyone help with how I can complain about issues i am having with export and import of data, also i have had to call support many times regarding this and had online chats. As soon as i resolve one issue i have another. Everytime they send me an email they are closing the case so when i try and reply to say that the instructions havent worked it just tells me the case is closed and i cant reply. How do you open a case so that you can keep going back and forward with the issue to get it resolved. I am at the point where i will cancel my subscription and move everything to another provider.
I have had several issues with data, the size of files, how to actually export the data. The cog wheel on extracts certain data and these sections dont have matching import sections. The other data ie invoices, customers, chart of accounts, bank transactions all has to be exported seperate. When you have as many transactions as i do (7 years worth) this is not a simple process as you can only import 1000 excel lines at a time, is there no way of IT moving over my full user data to another user, i cant understand why it is actually easier to move to another provider than stay with quickbooks and the support has been pretty horrendous as they only deal with one issue at a time and when they give a solution something else goes wrong connected to it and i have to start the whole support request fresh which means you are constantly explaining the same thing over and over again. I was told on Friday i would need an accountant to move the data which also is not an option for me!
You mentioned "file size".
Anyway, if you want to clone your data, utilize the Copy feature available in a backup restore app.
Should you only need to migrate some portion of data, utilize a migration tool.
Otherwise, contact us in private if you need to purchase our data conversion service to another accounting app.
I need help filing a complaint about QuickBooks/Intuit/tsheets. In the last month, I cannot send direct deposit paycheck (16 hours later told to cut paper checks).
No matter who I have on the phone, "someone else has to take care of it" usually engineering. Payroll is just a small portion of my job. I have spent so many hours on the phone with this company. That is the reason we have QuickBooks Intuit, so they can do the job. They are suppose to be the payroll company, right.
I am at a loss because I cannot switch to a new payroll company until the beginning of the year (due to tax reasons).
I cannot believe this company is still in business. I know my business would be closed.
Can any tell me who to file a complaint with so no one ever uses this company?
I feel bad for the technicians on line. Many have told me they have not had sufficient training and cannot help with certain things. Apparently, many employees have quit and they have no help. Again, please tell me who to reach out to. Thanks.
My name is Tim [last name removed] President of [company name removed]. We run a Union shop in NJ. Our Union employees Disability Insurance is run through the Union not the State of NJ. For this reason we must disable the automatic SDI deduction. Up until recently this was a simple phone call to a QB's Payroll representative and a pleasant 5 minute conversation. I gave them a code, they gave me a code and I was able to disable the automatic SDI deduction. We can no longer accomplish that! Multiple times we have engaged with QB's support with no solutions. Today alone at least 4-hours was spent with no results in multiple phone calls and chats!!
THIS MUST STOP!!! This MUST become a simple stream lined task, as it was!! We will be hiring multiple Union employees over the next several weeks. You are crippling our office with multiple people attempting to accomplishing this simple task!

I cant log into my new account.. your online support keeps giving me a US number to call. I called the helpline for the first time to be told you cant help as i have a self employed account. Which of course I didnt know because I cant log in to see anything in the account.. I have used multiple browsers and computers, cleared caches and just want to log into start my account.

Regarding my new QB web account, I found it unacceptable that the software cannot migrate all the credit card entries from my bank (bank of America). The customer service told me that this is a well known issue and that QB is working on fixing the issue. Well, your techs should try to move faster on addressing that issue.
