Hello, Robert. Currently, the Download button in QuickBooks acts as a quick export feature, using standardized settings that default to portrait mode. However, you can still save your invoice in a landscape layout by using the print settings instead.
To save an Invoice in a landscape format, follow these steps:
- On the Invoice page, click the Print or download button then select Print.
- Click the Print icon, then choose Save as PDF from the Printer dropdown menu.
- Under Layout section, select Landscape.
- Click Save to complete the download.
Please keep in mind that since QuickBooks defaults to portrait for quick exports, you will need to manually adjust these settings each time you want a landscape copy, as the system does not remember this preference for future downloads.
