Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We just want to confirm your query. Is this to advise a creditor that you owe them money or are you referring to a credit note, where you have overpaid them?
Thanks for the replies
Regarding my question about “how to issue debit note to supplier” I typo ,should be is “how to issue debit note to customer”
Our company is in Singapore and Batam (Indonesia),
Our company is in Batam, wants to bill some transactions (maintenance server, etc) and reimbursements to Singapore, how do we issue debit notes to them?
Because in the customer column, I don't see the debit note (attached)
Thanks for the attention and help
I appreciate you for providing us the in-depth details and a screenshot of this issue, juwita.
There are two ways on how we can handle these two situations in QuickBooks Online (QBO). First, we need to create a credit note transaction in your Indonesia company file.
For more details about entering credit note, you can check out this article: Enter and apply credit notes and delayed credits in QuickBooks Online.
Second, we need to enter a customer's refund by recording it in the Singapore company. Just follow the steps and details in this article: Record a customer refund in QuickBooks Online. Then go to Step 1: Record the refund for your customer section.
I've got a link here that provides you with articles about managing customer transactions: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/manage-customers-and-income/misc/02/uk-manage-customers-....
I'm just one reply away if you need a hand with running customer's reports or any QBO related. Wishing you and your business continued success. Keep safe always.
