Moving accounts directly across different account types in the Chart of Accounts (COA) is an unsupported feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Dori. I'll share alternative solutions for managing these in the system.
The default arrangement of accounts in the COA is by Account Type, but you can customize this arrangement to suit your needs. You can sort accounts by Name, Detail Type, VAT Rate, QuickBooks Balance, and Bank Balance by clicking the header of each column on the COA page. This flexibility arranges your accounts to improve your financial analysis and reporting.

Once you click the selected sort button, the accounts will show in ascending or descending order, depending on your preference.
If you require more flexibility, such as dragging accounts to specific locations, consider exploring third-party applications integrated with QBO. You can visit the QuickBooks App Store and navigate to the CATEGORIES section to select an app that best suits your needs.
