This issue occurs when you try to edit a pay date that doesn't align with the tax period set for that pay run. To resolve this, check the original pay date by navigating to the Payroll menu, selecting Pay Run, and confirming that the original pay date was chosen.
Additionally, make sure you are not outside of the tax period. If you're setting a new pay date, it must fall within the same tax period as the original pay date, meaning it should be in the same month and within the allowed timeframe for that period.
