Hey there! Hayley. Thanks for reaching out. I totally get wanting to make the shift to your iPad Pro entirely, cause it really makes managing things on the go so much easier.
Since we were talking about finding your existing documents, let's get you squared away with those direct, reliable steps in the QuickBooks app.
You'll find your entire client list right under the main menu. Here are the steps:
- First, open the QuickBooks app on your iPad Pro.
- Next, tap the Menu icon ☰ in the upper-left corner of the screen.
- Then, select Customers from the menu list.
- Consequently, you will see a complete list of your existing customers.
- Finally, tap on any customer's name to view their details, recent transactions, and activity feed.
Now, if you want to access existing invoices and estimates, here's how:
- Start by tapping the Menu icon ☰ again in the upper-left corner.
- Afterward, select Invoices or Estimates from the menu.
- Once selected, you will see a list of all your existing transactions for that specific type.
- Also, you can use the Search (magnifying glass icon) and Filter options at the top of the list to quickly locate a specific document by customer name, status, or date range.
- Finally, tap on any invoice or estimate in the list to open it and view the full details, history, and edit options.
Note that the QuickBooks mobile app only shows transactions from the current or previous year. To find older ones, adjust the Date filter or use a web browser for a complete transaction history.
If you need any further assistance with navigating the app, editing a transaction, or managing older records, please feel free to reply to this conversation. We are always here to help you!
