We have two options for transferring your self-employed data to QBO. We can do this automatically in the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) Gear icon or manually switch from QBSE to QBO.
Since you've already set up your QBO account, I recommend moving your data manually to avoid duplicating your subscription. Here's how:
- First, download all your QuickBooks Self-Employed transactions.
- Then, manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. Otherwise, you can connect your bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online and download your transactions.
- After that, you can cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription to prevent getting charged.
