Let's work together to successfully import your CSV file into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
First off, may I know if you received any error when importing and which bank you’re using? If so, please share us the details so I can assist you effectively.
For now, if you received an error while importing, it means your CSV file's formatting is incorrect or doesn’t meet QuickBooks requirements. I recommend ensuring your CSV follows the correct format before uploading transactions. Here are the two formats you can use:
- The first is where columns include the Date, Transaction name/description, and Amount. The date format should be DD/MM/YYYY, and the amount column should show the figures with a plus or minus symbol so the program can see if it's income or an expense.
- The second is similar to the first. The CSV can have four columns: Date, Transaction name/description, Credit, and Debit. Again, the date format should be DD/MM/YYYY.
