I have granted permission and linked my current account to set up my account but It wont toggle on and pull transactions through?

If your bank isn’t syncing transactions with QuickBooks, please note that it only pulls data from the last 90 days, @patmc-sol. You can check with your bank for any issues or you can upload your transactions manually. Let me walk you through the process.

First off, could you please share the name of your bank? This can help in troubleshooting the issue further.

Here are a few things to check if your bank isn't activating and pulling transactions, even though you've given permission and linked your current account:

  • Transaction Age: QuickBooks only pulls transactions from the last 90 days. If your most recent transaction is older than that, it won't be included in the sync.
  • Bank Updates: In the meantime, you might want to contact your bank to check if there are any updates or ongoing issues on their end that could be preventing transactions from updating and syncing into QuickBooks.

In the meantime, you can contact your bank to check if there are any updates or ongoing issues on their end that could be preventing transactions from updating and syncing into QuickBooks.

While fixing the issue with your bank connection in QuickBooks, you can manually upload your transactions into QuickBooks using a CSV file format.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Click the New transaction dropdown, then select Upload bank statement.
  3. Select Drag and drop or select files and choose the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, hit Continue.
  4. Choose the account you want to upload the transactions into in the Account name dropdown. Then, click Continue.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  6. Choose the transactions you would like to import. Then click Continue.
  7. Select Yes to confirm.
  8. Hit Got it.
