Hi @tbmumbai! You can link your bank for automatic updates or enter data manually. To record earnings exactly as they appear on your app, go to the Transactions menu and select New transactions under Bank transactions. Here are the steps:
- In the Bank Transactions page, click the New transaction button.
- Enter the total gross earnings from your app statement.
- In the Description section, enter the name of the app and the statement.
- Choose Business Income. This is critical as it maps directly to the HMRC Self Assessment sales section.
- Click Save to add it to your books.
It's also best to consult with an accountant so they can help you determine which category to use when recording inside the program. This way, your records remain accurate inside the program.
You can upload CSV statements directly from the Bank transactions page using the Upload bank statement option. This allows you to drag and drop the file from your device and follow the on-screen instructions to add it to your account.
